I can't believe Andy is already 1! He is getting so big too fast. We celebrated his birthday in CO before we left so he could be with my family. My mom made him a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and he LOVED it. He was picking at it, eating mostly the frosting, and then decided the easiest way to eat it was to pick up the cake and smash it into his face... very funny. Not as funny when it was clean up time. There was chocolate everywhere!! And of course right as I got him out of the bath and put his jammies on, he got sick.... more chocolate clean up!! But it was a ton of fun. We went to the pool for his birthday activity because he loves to swim and then had a BBQ at Grandma and Grandpa's house on Sunday. Mommy made him a vanilla cupcake with a whip cream and berry "frosting" instead of an entire cake, so this time he did not get as messy or sick :) On his birthday we went and played at aunt Taryn's house with his cousin's Tayla and Gavin and then opened presents with mommy and daddy. He had lots of fun for his very first birthday...
